Our event on April 14, 2011 will highlight the key role of healthy, educated girls and women for furthering Africa’s social and economic development. | | | | | | | | | AMREF at Work The Mtwara WATSAN project in rural Tanzania Navikole, like many other villages in the Mtwara district of Tanzania, has no access to clean water or sanitation services. Women and children of the district have to travel on average about four miles to a water source in the dry season to collect drinking water.
