July 27, 2018 – We had an amazing time this week at Africa Beats our first benefit concert held in New York City. On Tuesday July 24, Amref supporters came ready to dance and bowl at Brooklyn Bowl - a live venue fully equipped with 16 high-tech bowling lanes. The night was emceed by Young Prince who kept the crowd dancing with DJ Buka all night. Dancers from Afrobeats Dance NYC pumped up the crowd in between a mesmerizing performance by Jojo Abot, and a high-energy finale by Young Paris, with special guest Trinidad Jame$.

All proceeds from the event will support our work in Africa including maternal health checkups for pregnant women, HIV testing and counseling, immunization for young children and so much more.
