September 25, 2015 – Amref Health Africa’s Health Enablement and Learning Platform, or HELP, was chosen as a recipient of the Brandon Hall Group Silver award for excellence in “Best Use of Mobile Learning” last week. The prize is awarded to innovative technologies that deliver meaningful business results to their organizations.
HELP provides Kenya Ministry of Health-approved training content to community health volunteers (CHVs). It is based on a sophisticated mobile learning methodology and works on all mobile phones from basic to smart, empowering health workers through learning opportunities and enablement tools.
It was developed through a cross-sector collaboration between Amref Health Africa, Accenture, Mezzanine, Safaricom and the M-Pesa Foundation.
Excellence Awards winners will be honored at Brandon Hall Group’s HCM Excellence Conference January 27-29, 2016, at the PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Selected winners also will serve as presenters in the more than 20 breakout sessions during the 2½-day conference.
