Product Manager, Diabetes Payer Marketing, Johnson & Johnson
Amanda is currently one year into a two-year rotational program (The Experienced Commercial Leadership Development Program) at Janssen Pharmaceuticals, a Johnson & Johnson company. Her first rotation was in the company’s newly formed Global Public Health group, where she managed several business development and portfolio expansion projects, lead branding and communication development and distribution for an USAID-Johnson & Johnson donation collaboration, and supported the development of a resistance monitoring program for multi-drug resistant tuberculosis. The role also enabled her to initiate and build relationships with external organizations critical to the group’s long-term success. Amanda recently joined the US Payer Marketing team for Metabolics, where she manages branded and unbranded marketing tactics to improve access to INVOKANA® in a highly crowded and competitive type-2 diabetes market. Prior to attending business school, Amanda spent over three years in West Africa, providing health education and business development support to communities and entrepreneurs. Amanda holds a BA from James Madison University and an MBA from George Washington University.
